MODULE-COMPLIANCE area. Each Management Information Base (MIB) module defines one MODULE-COMPLIANCE statement here, declaring the mandatory and optional object groups and notification groups, so that the management station can determine the implementation conformance of the agent.
Status: registered but unused. No compliance statement has been defined; allocate identifiers in ascending order, one per MIB module, and keep the identifier stable for the lifetime of the module. The unused state shall be re-verified at each revision of this file.
Recommendation: when an object group becomes mandatory in a later release, publish a new compliance statement version rather than redefining the existing one, so that deployed agents remain accurately described.
