English:
Device identity notification. Reported when the unique identity of a device (serial number, hardware model, manufacturer) is created, changed or detected as inconsistent.
Recommended severity: major. Recommended handling: verify the asset records and the authenticity of the device, and confirm that the change is authorized before allowing the device to access the network; if a serial number conflict or counterfeit device is suspected, quarantine the device and start a security investigation.
Status: registered but unused. Not yet emitted by any product; when implemented, carry the previous and current identity values together with the device unique identity object (1.3.6.1.4.1.59719.1.100). The unused state shall be re-verified at each revision of this file.
Recommendation: bind this notification to asset change and certificate subject change checking, since an identity change invalidates the binding between the device certificate (1.3.6.1.4.1.59719.5.300) and the device.
